Paul McNulty

PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT & MANAGING DIRECTOR

I am a safety practitioner with over 20 year’s practical experience in the fields of health, safety, quality and environmental management in HM Forces, Motorway Construction and the Railway Industry reaching Safety & Assurance Director Level with a large Facilities Management Company.

I have been Company Director with KenMac Associates Ltd for the previous 5 years. To me health and safety is not just about enforcing rules but risk management tempered with common sense and I have the strong view that the management of health and safety is not about long complex risk assessments with the constant dread of litigation but is about identifying the potential for harm in the workplace then implementing workable management systems which will also constantly improve business performance.

I believe small to medium sized companies should be no different in their health and safety, environmental and quality culture than the larger blue chip and multinational companies. I fully believe with the assistance of KenMac Associates Ltd you will be able to put into place an effective and robust Integrated Management System that also focuses on the motivation of your employees in order to engage them in the common goal of improving health, safety, quality, environmental and business performance.

Gareth Roberts

DIRECTOR

I am a Chartered Health and Safety professional with 10 years of consultancy experience. I consider myself a well rounded Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Consultant, specialising in Management Systems, Construction Health & Safety and Rail Industry Compliance. I have recently become a Chartered Member of IOSH and gained my BOHS P402 Asbestos Surveying qualification. I am now working towards Associate IEMA status and planning to gain some Lead Auditor qualifications.

I feel that health, safety, quality and environmental management has received an unfair amount of bad press in recent years, due mainly to a minority of practitioners who like to focus on trivial issues and bureaucracy instead of focusing on the issues that will keep people safe and promote a strong safety, quality and environmental culture within an organisation.

I always strive to connect with people at all levels of an organisation, from the management team to the operatives at the workface, and believe it’s important to explain not just what needs to be done but why, as workforce involvement and education is crucial if a positive culture is to be achieved.

I take great pride in going the extra mile to satisfy the requirements of my clients and am confident that I will be an invaluable asset in helping your company achieve its goals.

Richard Oxley

DIRECTOR

I’m a Chartered H&S Professional with experience in the Large Construction, Retail, Rail, Civil Engineering and Renewable Energy Construction sectors amongst others.

Since the arrival of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) I have spent much of my time advising and training large clients on their CDM duties and offering practical solutions and systems to ensure that projects are delivered in a safe and legal manner. I have also been working with Designers on their CDM duties by leading Principal Design teams containing Architects, Project Managers, Contractors and others with design responsibilities.

I believe in offering an expert service to our clients in a way which makes them feel like we are part of their in house team. Kenmac Associates only work with good people and good organisations who take H&S seriously and in return we ensure that they get a top class service from us where accurate Health, Safety and Environmental legal advice is combined with practical solutions.

Chris McNulty

ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT

A former Project Manager with a Rail Company with 15 years of Electrical Engineering experience. I decided to make the transition to a Safety & Assurance Professional after realising how much Safety, Environmental and Quality issues are imbedded in Project Planning.

I have been a Safety Consultant for a relatively short space of time with the majority of that time spent preparing Construction Phase Information for a major client to ensure that they are compliant with the requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

Currently I am working toward becoming a Chartered Member of IOSH and Associate IEMA status while planning to gain some Lead Auditor qualifications in the near future.

What I have learnt in my time with KenMac Associates Ltd is that our Clients lean heavily on our support and advice so it is important we get it right. I believe we do that with the right blend of relevant information and guidance coupled with a common-sense approach giving a workable solution for compliance with legislation, client requirements and ensuring working practises are safe.

I am sure my background of Electrical Engineering, Rail and Project Management is adding another dimension to what KenMac Associates Ltd can offer our current and potential clients.
