Our trainers are all Radio Detection trained and will deliver hands on course containing both practical and theoretical elements to ensure operatives are confident when the time comes to carry out surveys on site.
Cable strikes pose serious risks when carrying out ground works and excavation including serious injury & death to operatives, fire & explosion and serious damage to client infrastructure.
As an employer you have a legal obligation to do what is reasonably practicable to minimise these risks and one of the most effective ways is the use of Cable Avoidance Tools and Signal Generators (CAT and Genny).
In order to use this equipment effectively and to prove competence operatives must be trained by a competent person. Our trainers are all Radio Detection trained and will deliver hands on course containing both practical and theoretical elements to ensure operatives are confident when the time comes to carry out surveys on site.
Duration of the course will run from 4 hours up to 4½ hours and all participants on the courses will receive a Certificate of Competence.
